Landscape photography conjures romantic notions of large scale view cameras, pre-dawn hikes and placid zone system calculations a world away from the harried routine of contemporary urban dwellers. Formerly the domain of only the hardiest of tripod-toters, modern photo technology has now brought the peaceful easy feeling of the big country to anyone with strength enough to lift a DSLR.
This month 1650 celebrates from the mountains to the prairies, with waves of Amber grain thrown in for good measure. To be exhibited as a group show in the Los Angeles arts district of Echo Park.
The exhibition selections are open to photographs of landscapes worldwide.
