Welcome to the Air and Space magazine first annual photo contest. Four contest categories are drawn from subjects of special interest to Air & Space:
Civilian—Photographs of any aircraft, vintage or modern, used for personal or business purposes; everything from homebuilts to ultralights to aerobatic craft to airliners.
Spacecraft—Space shuttles, satellites, rockets, or rovers; anything that went to space—or could go.
Military—Images of airplanes, helicopters, or UAVs—in any category from combat to cargo—currently operated or operated in the past by any armed service.
People & Planes—Portraits—Images of pilots or enthusiasts with the airplanes they love.
Finalists from these four categories will be posted on our Web site starting in December 2013, and visitors will vote for their favorites for the Reader’s Choice prize.
