WetlandCare Australia Art and Photography Competition

The WetlandCare Australia National Art and Photography Competition, to celebrate World Wetlands Day, is on again for its 4th year. The theme for the 2011 competition is Forested Wetlands: their importance and wise use.
The competition has categories in art and photography for children and adults, with some great prizes to be won, including the $1500 NSW Catchment Management Authorities Open Art 1st Prize. This is an excellent opportunity to explore your local wetlands and waterways, essential elements of our environment and endless sources of inspiration.
WetlandCare Australia is a registered charity, working to protect and restore Australian wetlands.

PRIZE DETAILS: NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water Open Photography, with a first prize of $1200, WetlandCare Australia CHildren's Photography, with a first prize of $600, NSW Catchment Management Authorities Open Art with a first prize of $1500; Central West Catchment Management Authority Children’s Art Senior with a first prize of $1200; Murray-Darling Basin Authority Children’s Art Junior with a first prize of $1200 ELIGIBILITY: Australian resident Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.

COPYRIGHT: The artist continues to hold copyright of the artworks during and after the specified time period.The artist will be recognised by name wherever the work is reproduced. The Moral Rights of the Artist will always be respected. USAGE RIGHTS: The winning artworks and photography may be used to develop products for fundraising by WetlandCare Australia, under a non-exclusive licence for five years from January 1 2011, if the entrant has signed the relevant section of the entry form. The work may be reproduced, in whole or in part, for the development of products for promotional and fundraising purposes by WetlandCare Australia. The artist will be recognised by name wherever the work is reproduced. WetlandCare Australia is a not-for-profit organisation, with all proceeds from fundraising going to projects such as wetland restoration and conservation. The Moral Rights of the Artist will always be respected. The major sponsoring organisations with naming rights to category prizes may use reproductions of the winning works for promotional and media purposes until October 2 2011, under agreement with WetlandCare Australia. No artwork will be used for fundraising purposes by sponsoring organisations, and the artist will always be acknowledged by name and prize won wherever their work is reproduced. The Moral Rights of the Artist will always be respected under the Agreement with WetlandCare Australia
