The 2020VISION CONSERVATION PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD
April sees the launch of 2020VISION, Britain’s most ambitious photography-based conservation initiative ever! 20 of the country’s top wildlife and nature photographers have, for the first time, come together with leading conservation partners to document the value of restoring Britain’s battered ecosystems. Over the course of 20 months, the 2020 Phototeam will carry out 20 flagship assignments, which demonstrate the link between healthy ecosystems and healthy people.
The Phototeam includes top shooters Chris Packham, Joe Cornish and Andy Rouse. www.2020V.org

A place in the team is up for grabs !

One place on the 2020 Phototeam is being made available through the British Wildlife Photography Awards. The 2020VISION Conservation Photography Award, sponsored by The Wild Media Foundation, was conceived to find fresh talent in conservation photo-journalism. And the prize? A unique commission working alongside Britain’s top pros – give it a go!

The prize will be awarded to the photographer who submits a portfolio of up to 8 images which best illustrates a topical UK conservation story or theme. The subject matter is entirely the photographers choice and the judges will be looking for innovation in photographic story telling. The winner will be awarded a fully-paid for set of UK commissions within the 2020VISION strategy. Category sponsored by Wild Media Foundation
