focusonfrankstonOpen to residents and visitors, the Focus on Frankston Photography Competition is your perfect opportunity to show us what you love about Frankston City and share your favourite memories.

Whether it’s meandering along Seaford Foreshore, jogging through the Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve or playing golf at Sandhurst, you can capture your experience in Frankston.

This year, the competition has been expanded to include 10 category prizes along with the major prizes and a Peoples Choice Award.

ELIGIBILITY: All ages, all Australian residents (except Frankston City Council employees and their immediate families) Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.

COPYRIGHT: Each entrant warrants to the Promoter that: a) each entry submitted (including the entrants photograph) is an original artistic work of the entrant that does not infringe on the rights of any third party, including but not limited to, copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights; and b) entrants must ensure they have the necessary model and/or property releases as required, and winning entrants may be requested to provide written evidence of these signed documents. Failure to provide such documentation could result in their entry being forfeited. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of these warranties. Entries which include a close up photo must include a signed permission form from the person/s in the photo or from the parent/guardian of children aged 16 years or under. Permission forms can be downloaded from the Promotion web site or by collecting a form at one of Council?s customer service outlets. As a condition of entering this competition, all entrants grant to the Promoter the right to use their image in Frankston City Council and Frankston Tourism promotional material, this usage is royalty free. This usage includes but is not limited to any media including banners, signage, posters, magazines, television, internet, DVD, MMS or other digital or print formats. The entrant as a condition of entering the competition accepts that all entries become the property of the Promoter and recognition of the photographer cannot be guaranteed. Due regard will be given to the preservation of the artistic integrity of the works. The Promoter will not edit, alter or demean any images in any way. The Promoter does retain the right to crop the image for reproduction processes.
