Plantlife photographic contest 2009: A Blooming Great Year!

plantlife-logoHave you ever fancied yourself as a budding David Bailey? Or a Lord Lichfield of the lichen world?Well, this is your chance to have your work seen by a wider audience. We’re looking for 12 photographs to represent each month in the Plantlife 2010 calendar.

This year’s theme is ‘A Blooming Great Year’. We’re looking for scenes involving wild plants and fungi that really sum up a time of year. It could be blossom in springtime or wild flowers on coastal cliffs in the summer; berries on autumnal bushes or a close-up of frosted lichens.

These are only suggestions – be creative, be inventive and dig deep in your archives. Send us images that show plants and fungi in all their glory, in all types of weather at different times of the year.
